Cork Camogie Board Set to Ratify Maurice O’Sullivan as Cork Minor Camogie Manager 

Following a successful interview process, Cork Camogie Board is pleased to announce they will be putting Maurice O’Sullivan forward as the new Cork Minor Camogie Manager for a two-year term, with the possibility of an extension, pending ratification at the upcoming county board meeting. 

Maurice O’Sullivan brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of success to this role. Maurice’s dedication to Cork Camogie development through his involvement with the Cork Development Hub has made a valuable contribution to the future of Cork Camogie. His impressive tenure in leading multiple teams to victory in Club and College campaigns reflects his dedication and expertise. Notably, Maurice’s invaluable contributions to Cork U16, U17, and Minor teams over the past five years saw him have an integral role with the U16 team, winning three consecutive All Ireland and Munster titles. 

Expressing his anticipation for the role, Maurice commented, “I am eagerly anticipating the challenge of managing the Cork Minor Camogie Team. My aim is to build upon the excellent foundation laid at both the minor and under-16 levels. I am committed to fostering a culture of competition and nurturing a winning mindset among the players. Cork boasts incredible talent and a strong competitive spirit, and I am determined to uphold this legacy in my role as manager.” 

The Cork Camogie Board extends its best wishes to Maurice and his management team. The Board is thrilled to have Maurice dedicated to furthering his progression with Cork Camogie.
